The Pinocchio Rug is named after a Danish candy - colourful sugar-coated liquorice balls. Handmade in Nepal using traditional craft methods, the brightly-coloured felt balls are individually rolled, strung on a cord and sewn into a circular rug that's ideal for brightening up any interior space.

Pinocchio is made from 100% New Zealand wool and handmade in Nepal, where wool fibres are felted into woolen beads, and stitched together by hand. The rug should only be used as a decorative rug. Due to the delicate construction, it does not stand heavy wear and tear. Irregularities may occur i.e. uneven edges, and different loop sizes. Avoid placing the rug in direct sunlight, as the colours may fade. The carpet should be vacuumed once a week or more, to ensure that dirt and dust is kept out. In case of any liquid spillage, soak up the excess spill by dabbing carefuly with a sponge. Avoid rubbing the sponge on the carpet as it may cause the spot to distort or spread and damage the carpet. Please note below steps for cleaning stains on Pinocchio Rug: 1. Only use cold water as hot water can shrink the felt of the rug. 2. Mix the cold water with mild soap, then gently rub it on the stain. 3. To remove any soap residue, damp a lint-free cloth with clean water and then very gently wipe it off. Repeat the process if required. 4. For drying, use a dry towel and press down to remove any excess water before leaving to dry naturally.
